Sick turtles a warning sign for Reef

SCIENTISTS have slammed the Abbot Point coal port expansion as turtles with potentially fatal infections continue to wash up on North Queensland shores.
A diseased green sea turtle has been found at Edgecombe Bay, south of Abbot Point, and environmentalists fear development is placing the Great Barrier Reef's marine life under threat. Read more
